Handling and marchandising:
Mist lightly to avoid moisture loss. typical shelf life: 14 days. do not store carrots with ethylene producers, this will result in a bitter flavour. do not store carrots with odour producers, because carrots will absorb qadours.

Selection and storge:
Choose firm, straight bright orange carrots with no green or purple areas at the top. keep refrigerated at 0-2c. keep moist when not packaged. packaged carrots last longer. carrots can be lightly frozen several times without sustaining serious damage.
